•  Go for Milk!

A poem by Mediana Stan, illustrated by Szitai György-Ferenc, translated by Rafael Manory

Uncle Andrew shaves off his beard,
With an axe chops logs at the rear,
Chops and chops till he gets tired
We are sitting in the hut by the fire.

He pours wine through funnel, indeed,
And proposes a bargain, take heed:
    A wild hog
    On a huge log.

Thinking deeply, I come out of the shack.
Oh, no! The wild boar launches an attack!
